A Talent for Murder centers around a very wealthy, prolific, but irascible, writer who is now in her 70s, whether she admits it or not. Also part of the story are her son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, grandson-in-law, doctor and a very dubious, but mannerly, houseboy. The play takes place over a three-day weekend in and around the writers mansion. Of course, there is a murder which begs to be solved and it takes the entire play to make that happen. It is an intriguing plot with some strange characters, motives, twists and turns. |
