Greg and Kate's
children are grown. He's at loose ends, dissatisfied with his job. She's
taken up a career in midlife and is prospering on her own. Then one day,
while playing hooky from the office, Greg finds a stray dog in the park and brings
her home. Sylvia proves an escape for Greg, but becomes a rival for affection
to Kate, as well as a threat to a more simplified way of life. The marriage
is put in serious jeopardy, as the three go toe to toe to paw in an attempt
to resolve the situation. |
