Stage 212 Presents

DEATH OF A SALESMAN by Arthur Miller

Performed April 21-23, 28-30, 2006
at
The Manahan Center  700 1st Street  La Salle, Illinois

It's Brooklyn, 1949, and aging salesman Willy Loman is at the end of his rope. Years of selling on the road - a profession that he'd hoped would earn him personal and professional immortality - have merely left him exhausted and unstable, a burden to his devoted wife and his negligent sons. Past and present intermingle as Willy spins in and out of disorienting flashbacks in his struggle to make sense of a life that's left him empty-handed, while his loved ones struggle to keep him from slipping away forever. Considered one of the 20th Century's greatest plays, Death Of A Salesman is a moving, enlightening and devastating look at the last days of an American Dream.
