Based on Charles Dickens’ classic 1838 novel, Oliver Twist, Oliver!, by Lionel Bart, chronicles the adventures of a young English orphan from workhouse to undertaker’s assistant to apprentice pickpocket and finally to safety and security, encountering along the way a host of colorful characters: some comic, some sinister, some helpful, but all memorable. Viewers will enjoy such classic songs as “Food, Glorious Food,” “Where is Love?” and “Consider Yourself,” as well as many others from the Tony Award-winning score.
