Abby and
Martha Brewster are two nice ladies who put lonely gentlemen out of their
misery with poisoned elderberry wine. Mortimer, their nephew, is a theater
critic who hates theater. His brother, Teddy, thinks he’s Theodore
Roosevelt. Another brother, Jonathan, is a murderous thug on the run who
looks like Boris Karloff. Throw in a minister’s daughter, a plastic
surgeon and a cop who thinks he’s a playwright and the result is
laughter and lots of it. |
